Default FoC build

Hey all.
I was wondering if there is a good FoC build. I know it goes well with suffering.

when i run FoC i usually run something like

[feast of corruption][barbs][insidious parasite][suffering][signet of lost souls][finish him][sunspear res sig]

atts being

14 curses,13 SR. And if it matters r10 norn, but ive been using finish him since r6.

I usually run with other necros, wether they be heroes or people, but if im not i swap out teh res and take [mark of pain]. But this is all personal preference. If you can run with a ele of some sort have him use ice spikes on your target, you can do damage to more things that way.

Yeah the problem with Feast of Corruption is is that it needs preparation. In PvE you see the mob crowded together, you think oh how convinient, cast an area hex like suffering, and there goes your nicely crowded mob, half of it is coming after you, half of it stays and casts spells. Thus your FoC effects only half of the mob, 2-4 foes in avarage. Deep freeze or ice spikes helps, but needs coordination. In PvP it is rare to see more than 2 foes stand adjacent to each other. By looking on the numbers of FoC, it might seem reliable and balanced, but its difficult usage makes it a rarely used elite...guess i didn't help at all :P sorry

To use FoC, I would recommend bringing Arcane Echo along too.
Due to the fact that a mob will always disperse as they attack you, wait until the melee fighters have settled onto a target (hopefully a tank character), then cast Suffering, A Echo and FoC.
Either cast FoC again or use Suffering on any other group of enemies and cast FoC on them.

Although that does come with a very high energy cost, all of those spells costing 15 energy.

FoC isn't the best AoE spell in the game, it affects adjacent foes meaning it requires good placement in a mob. It also takes up your elite slot and has a hideous 20 second recharge.
